   The Dutch navigation and mapping company said it would cut about 300 roles — roughly 10% of its ~3,700 staff — concentrated in its application layer (route-planning apps), sales and customer support, framing the reorganisation as a strategic shift to 'fully embrace' AI across how it builds and ships products. Fewer than half the cuts fell in the Netherlands.

   TomTom said the cuts followed a shift to 'fully embrace artificial intelligence,' which it expects will let it 'scale up and down more easily to create and deliver products.'
