   On its Q4 FY25 earnings call Accenture disclosed headcount fell by more than 11,000 in three months under an $865M 'business optimization' program, saying it is exiting staff who cannot be reskilled for AI on a compressed timeline. Global cuts; company is Dublin-domiciled with large US operations.

   'We are exiting on a compressed timeline people where reskilling, based on our experience, is not a viable path for the skills we need.' (Accenture leadership on the Sept 2025 earnings call.)
