   Apple cut more than 200 roles, split roughly evenly between the Vision Pro group (a Vision Pro gaming team largely shut down, plus its immersive-video unit trimmed) and the Siri / software and Intelligent Systems Experience teams. Apple confirmed the reorganisation, framing it as a shift toward a new AI-powered Siri built on a different technical architecture and a reassessment of areas where adoption lagged (Vision Pro). Logged as mixed: an explicit AI pivot on the Siri side, cost/adoption discipline on the Vision Pro side.

   Apple: "We will create new roles as part of this change, it will also impact a limited number of existing roles," with affected staff able to apply for other positions.
